In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Dear Mom.”

Write a letter to your mom. Tell her something you’ve always wanted to say, but haven’t been able to.

Dear Mom,

things i have forgotten to tell you, about how i feel about you,

our relationship has definitely been a colorful one, and for that i am thankful, because we have learned to ride the waves of life together.

our relationship has been bittersweet, because i could be kind of a brat in those younger years and we had a hard time understanding each other, or maybe we understood each other too well and just liked being stubborn goats sometimes.

our relationship is joyful, because we laugh and laugh until we cry and then forget why we started laughing in the first place.

our relationship is lonely, when we forget to let God guide us together to a place of love and compassion for each other.

our relationship is nurturing, because we have learned to listen to each other and help each other grow.

our relationship is deep, because we’ve seen each other through many obstacles and challenges.

our relationship is strong, because we know we can trust the other.

our relationship is still developing, because after all we’re still discovering who we are (well i am LOL!).

i love you MOM!!!!
